HART's rescued pets are kept in foster homes until a permanent home is found. We try to make a good match between what the adopter is seeking and what we know about each pet.
Ricky is a sweet, friendly, happy little boy. He has the cutest face and big brown eyes. He absolutely loves everyone he meets and seems to have a smile on his face wherever he goes. He is 6-8 months old and weighs 11 lbs.
He loves the company of other dogs and would love to have a buddy to play with. He's friendly with cats also and would be gentle enough for small children. When he's not playing, he's very happy to sit in your lap or be held in your arms.
Ricky immediately took to Lucy, a 12-year old, blind Chow that lives in his foster home, so that is where he got his name! He will be neutered and ready for adoption on 3/13. Pictures coming soon.
