Description:
Hi, we are Iris (brindle) and Koko (brown). We are two females around a year old and a bonded pair of Chi mixes, so we must be adopted together. We love everyone! We live with an 8 year old girl, our foster mom and dad, a large black lab, and two other dogs who are much bigger then we are, and that is fine with us. We are a couple of snuggle bugs who love kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats, I don't know if we have ever seen one, they are most likely bigger then us, but we don't mind the big dogs. If someone sits down with a blanket, we are very quick to crawl under the blanket and snuggle with you. Our foster family said we feel like two hot water bottles laying on your lap under a blanket :) We rarely have accidents in the house, we know to go potty outside, and we are quiet all night in our crate. Our foster family works or goes to school 8 hours a day 5 days a week, and we never have a mess in our crate when they get home. We would be a wonderful addition to any family, a retired person or couple, a family with kids, we would do well in just about any home. Our foster family has had us for a little over a month, and has been procrastinating with doing our write up because they are really going to miss us when we get a home of our own because we are so entertaining and well behaved. Our adoption fee is $550. Our adoption fee is $550. Adoption fees for all dogs/puppies include the spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, frontline/biospot, and all age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. At this time it is necessary to send a request for an application. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including contact with your veterinarian and complete a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers who all work other jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response. Iris and Koko is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
