Birthday approx January 17, 2006 She was born in a home with very little hope for a future. She lived in a room with a dozen other dogs, most of them her brothers, sisters and parents. The rest of the house held thirty six more large dogs breeds and their puppies. Hard to believe, but the neighbors didn’t know that the home was filled with trash and filth. They say they didn’t even know they had dogs! Godiva is just about a year old and weighs about eleven pounds. She was very shy at first but is beginning to find out that people can offer her so much more than a tiny room filled with filth, poor quality food and isolation. Godiva was not abused, is not overly fearful, she was simply neglected because of the number of dogs the family owned. With a little one on one she will turn into a loving companion that appreciates the good things people have to offer.
