Nina was one of several Chihuahuas surrendered by a high volume breeder (puppy mill) in Southern New Mexico. We don’t know how many litters she delivered, but those days are over. Her only job is to be loved. She is probably about three to five years old. Her coat is rough and broken, but is growing back in nicely. We don’t know if she will have a medium length or longhair when she has been on a healthy diet long enough for it to fill out. Nina is currently eight pounds which is a good weight for her.The foster mom says that Nina is a “social butterfly” and the first to welcome anyone into the home. She loves to share her time between her foster mom and foster dad’s laps. Nina would be delighted to offer that service to a family of her own.
