Cindy is a 4 year old white and tan chihuhua who is very sweet and loving. She weighs about 8 lbs. and is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and is a very nice dog. No young kids please.Cindy, a nine-pound smooth-coated Chihuahua, came to the shelter after her last litter of puppies. She’s a very sweet, companionable dog. She blended into our animal family immediately, with our 13-pound Schnoodle and elderly cat. She seems more youthful than her four years, getting more playful with her foster brother each day, tearing around the backyard and chasing round the house. She appreciates the cat from a respectful distance. Most of all, she loves being close to her person. She bonded instantaneously, as she will with members of the lucky family to adopt her. She likes snuggles – she’s so soft - and kisses, rawhide chews, walks in the neighborhood, runs in the backyard, basking in the sun, riding in the car, and breakfast and dinner! She’s “stairs-challenged” but occasionally gets up the stairs when she has a bit of a run. She’s housebroken – I’ve been home to let her out during the day. As with any changing situation, she will need help to learn a new routine. She’s non-destructive. She will be fine as the only dog in the household and will enjoy other animal companions as well. As she''s small, probably she will not do well with young children. Cindy will be a most loving and wonderful addition to your family.
