Birthday approx April 1, 2004.
Handed from family to family we don’t know where she came from or how she ended up in the family that released her to us. They just said that she was nippy with the kids. They have four children of their own and two they babysit - all under the age of five. With so many young children tormenting her and the other inconsistencies in her life, Tinka has built a defensive wall with strangers. It takes her at least three or four days to come out of her kennel and start to get to know new people in her life.
She has been in two foster homes and one foster to adopt home looking for the right match. It will take a person who is willing to give her time to adjust and understands her needs to bring her around to being the loving dog she is in her current foster home.
If you are looking for a gorgeous little longhair dog and have a patient and quiet home you really need to consider Tinka. We will not adopt her to a family with children. She is fine with the other foster dogs and would do well with one or two other small dogs as companions. Tinka weights seven and a half pounds and is about four years old.
