Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Mitsy is an adorable 3-4 year old mix-breed dog who is looking for her forever home. Our best guess at breed is chihuahua/doxie mix - she is a petite little brindle girl who is long-n-low and weighs in at just over 9 pounds.Little Mitsy has spent her life until now as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. She is surprisingly friendly given her sad circumstances thus far - she absolutely loves being cuddled and wags her tail furiously when getting pets. She is doing really well on her potty training and gets along wonderfully with the resident dog in her foster home. Like most mill dogs she is pretty timid of new things, and everything is new to her. Because of her background, even though she is very friendly she will do best in a home without small children who could inadvertently frighten her. She will be a wonderful companion for a family that will gently and kindly introduce her to the big world that she has missed out on so far. Mitsy's adoption fee is $275 (plus $10 for microchip registration), which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter.
