Found an abandoned female dog roaming around with no collar. She looks to be a catahoula leopard dog mix - maybe some Labrador Retriver. Named her Abbie. Abbie is between 8 and 9 months old, we believe she is Catahoula and lab mixed. She is young so she is very playful, and loves attention. Abbie loves to play with toys and bones. She was use to being outside as a young puppy so she loves to be outside and play around, but she is kennel trained and house broken. She is very good with other dogs, both big and small. She is good with kids but she likes to jump so I would be cautious around little kids. I am currently working on getting her trained on a leash, so far so good. Abbie is mouthy but only in a playing way; we are also working on that. Abbie is timid but with love and affection I believe she will come out of her shell. With a loving home and dedication to training, Abbie would be a great addition to your family. IMPORTANT NOTE: All dogs need regular vigorous exercise. They also should be obedience trained and have an owner that knows how to be a true pack leader. We will only consider adopting to people willing to give the proper care and leadership that all dogs need.
