This handsome 2 yr old cairn is a little crazy but he’s so loveableand funny you won’t mind! He will stare fixedly at a point in theair, then try to catch what he sees-only there is nothing there. Healso loves to chase shadows and will sometimes try to dig them out ofthe ground. When that fails he might chase his own foot in circles. While this looks like typical 'quirky' cairn behavior and will makeyou laugh, he does need a small inexpensive pill twice a day with hisfood to keep his behavior in the 'sometimes' range.Sparky is a good traveler, camping buddy and is not a runner. He will be an ideal companion for a retired person or someone hecan follow around most of the day. He needs a home in the country oron a farm-NO subdivisions or apartment living for this guy as he willsound the alarm at visitors traffic and unusual sounds. He lovesmen, women and all kids and is wonderful with horses, livestock, cats, birds and other dogs.-- Oh, about other dogs-he can try to be a bitdominant especially when he is on the couch with you and another dogwants to join in—but he loves having another dog to follow around andplay fetch and chase with.Sparky enjoys exploring but is not hyper and is not a runner. He isseldom out of sight and always comes running when called. He loveshis crate (especially if it is where he can see you) and will go inand out for a snooze during the day. He is housebroken but will needa potty schedule and will come with a puppy band to wear until hestops trying to mark his new territory. If you have cairn or other terrier experience, you will love andappreciate this wonderful little dog. His adoption fee is $125. Formore information or to inquire about Sparky, please fill out anapplication and send to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
