Tippy is a beautiful black and white bull terrier mix that was abandoned on the rural back roads of Gainsville, Missouri. Poor Tippy was dumped at 3 months of age to fend for himself. Can you imagine having a home one minute and getting dumped the next? Not knowing what you did or how to find food and water.
Thanks to a very nice person that saw him walking near the edge of a road and picked him up. They called Perry’s to see if Perry could help this pup. Perry said of course we will take this poor guy. When Tippy arrived he was covered in fleas and ticks. Tippy was treated right away for the fleas and ticks and given some much needed food and a comfy bed to sleep on. After a few days Tippy was taken to the vet and given a through check up and he was neutered.
Tippy loves to swim, Gail keeps a large wash tub in his kennel at all times so he can get his feet wet whenever he feels like it. He also loves to jump up on his dog house and look around to see what is happening with the other dogs. He keeps a watchful eye on the goings on.
Tippy gets along with other dogs but not cats. Tippy is currently kenneled with Forest the rottie and they are getting along just fine. They both love to play and run around like young dogs should.
Tippy has been at Perry’s Orphans for several months now and is really looking forward to finding his forever home.
