They are perky and upright when there is a new sound, or when trying to comprehend that humane talk we use on these cute dogs. They are tucked back when they are happyand contented like Peyton's are in the photo while getting one of her first shelter walks. Peyton is a petite brindle girl, only about 40 pounds who at 1-1/2 years old has been returned for house soiling. It is extremely rare that an adult dog cannot be successfully housebroken and from what Peyton has demonstrated, it is surely not going to be a difficult task for an experienced dog owner.
