Description:
UPDATE: Bugsy completed his heartworm treatment and has been moved to a foster home near Minneapolis, MN. His foster family loves him and has indicated that they may want to adopt him, which would be great for Bugsy. Bugsy needs to wait 3-4 months after the heartworm treatment before getting neutered. After he is neutered, he would then be ready for adoption.

Bugsy is estimated to be a 3 yr old orange/white brittany weighing 42 lbs. He was found as a stray in Iowa. When he came into NBRAN's care, he was greatly infested with fleas. That lead us to name him Bugsy. All the fleas are gone now. Bugsy's underside is yellow, maybe from living in manure. He got a bath in tick & flea shampoo, but the yellowing will likely have to wear off over time. Bugsy is very timid & scared of most things. He seems to be good with other dogs, just not so trusting of people yet. We are in the process of getting him used to living indoors. He is up-to-date on his shots. If you are interested in working with Bugsy to trust, please contact Cathy Burgmeier at 414-768-9016 or via email at glennpipecvr@yahoo.com. Bugsy can be transported up to 1500 miles through our wonderful transport team. Bugsy has been a good traveler. Bugsy does appear to be crate trained. Bugsy's adoption fee is $350. Since it is not medically safe to neuter Bugsy until 3-4 months after heartworm treatment, there will be a $150 deposit that will be refunded upon proof of neuter.
