Please contact Cocker (CoCockerRescue@hotmail.com) for more information about this pet. If you are interested in this dog, please e-mail CoCockerRescue@hotmail.com and note which dog has caught your attention. We will send you an adoption application to complete and return to us. The adoption fee is $200. Louie came to us from Missouri where he was found in the most horrible condition, patchy skin, filthy, covered in feces, ridden with fleas and just looking miserable. He has been fully vetted, is heartworm negative and has been groomed. Since he has been in rescue and has been on a quality food, he is starting to look like a real dog… that is healthy! His coat is coming back, filling in the patchy areas and no longer looks brittle. We think he was just grossly neglected previously. He is definitely a spaniel, he might be a Welsh Springer Spaniel or could be part Brittany spaniel, since he is a little bigger than a cocker and the red and white coloring is consistent with Welsh spaniels and Brittany spaniels. He is just the sweetest boy, we think he is about 4 years old, he is neutered, housebroken and good with other dogs – don’t know about cats. He is a wonderful guy and loves to be with people, I would only recommend a family with older children ages 10+ because we don’t know his history with children. If you want a wonderful dog in your life, he might just be the one for you.
