Maybe they named me that because I am so PRETTY! Besides being so pretty, I am also a sweetheart. I love affection, which includes cuddle time and play time with you. One of my favorite things to do is lie by the sliding glass door and watch the squirrels in the back yard. I would be very appreciative if you took me for walks regularly. I am a lover and I need to be cuddled, so I'm sorry about this but I absolutely must insist on sleeping in your bed with you! I will let my foster mom tell you more about me...I'm off to check out the back yard for squirrels! Jewels is a wonderful girl. A better personality than hers would be hard to come by. She is very affectionate and wants to be by you. She will need a home where she can see outside easily. She is uncomfortable and gets nervous when she can't see outside. She would do well with another dog or as the only dog in the household. She absolutely insists on sleeping on the bed, but don't worry, she's not a bed hog. She just wants to be close. Jewels likes to go for rides in the car, but she doesn't like to visit other households or go to work with me. She just likes to get out of the house for a while and visit the park or just do errands with me. Jewels has the cuttest little tail and behind...when she is happy and wags her tail you can't help but smile. She also has the most adorable 'Chewbacca' impression that she does when she is excited about her dinner. I'm not kidding...she sounds exactly like Chewbacca from Star Wars. :) I get stopped every time I'm out walking her by people who think she is adorable. This one is special! The vet tried to contact the family, but the phone was disconnected. It seems she may have been abandoned.
