Description:
3-7-10 Yeah...our senior boy got a great home!!!2-20-10 11 year old Maxx was found wandering and when his owner was located he said he didn't want him anymore? He was being kept in an outside kennel and apparently he didn't want to feed him anymore either as he only weighed about 30 lbs and was very emaciated at the time of rescue. We don't know why anyone wouldn't want this sweetheart. He is in a volunteer home and gets along well with the other dogs and cats. After a refresher course on house training he seems to pretty much have that down now too. He walks great on a leash and loves car rides! We have discovered that he can get over a 4' fence if he wants to and would much prefer to have his people go out with him. He was supposedly originally adopted from a shelter and at least is already neutered. Situations just like his are exactly why we try to be very careful where these animals are placed! It's not about finding just any home, but the right home for that animal! He has been to the vet and is now current on his vetting, all vaccines, heart worm tested, frontlined, de-wormed, had the skin tags removed from his eye lids and will be micro-chipped before adoption. This is an absolutely wonderful, older boy who has a lot of life left to live and alot of love left to give to that special someone! Please e-mail for an application if you can provide an indoor, lifetime home for this sweetie.
