8/31/09 Christa has been with AABR for 7 months now and is still waiting for a foster, or better yet, forever home. We have learned a great deal about her – including her real name, Sasha. It seems the dog we formally knew as Christa was called Sasha during her life as a breeder dog. She knows this name and responds to it. Sasha is beautiful. This poor girl hasn’t known a great life before coming to AABR, but she’s looking for an opportunity to find and flourish in a forever home. Sasha, like many breeder dogs, had limited interactions with humans and the interactions were often negative. Sasha needs to find a home where she can be allowed to share the amazing dog that is within her. She quickly bonds with people who show her kindness, and is hoping to find a home that wants to help her gain the confidence that she lacks. Please apply to foster or adopt Sasha! She will not disappoint! 1/15/09 - Christa is a 4 yr old fawn female surrendered to rescue from a puppymill. She is very sweet and gentle. Christa is crate trained.
