Description:
Howdy folks, the name is Valentine, but you can call me 'Val' it doesn't matter. They named me this because they found me on Valentine's Day. But now they say it fits anyway because I am a sweetie! I am about 2 years old and a large brindle female with black mask. I haven't missed too many meals, as I weigh 72 lbs, so I am kinda stout. I've had some pups in the past, and we all know what having babies does to our figure (right ladies?) Before I came to TBR I was being taken care of by some nice people in a neighborhood where I had been dumped. They left food and water out for me but I was too scared to come very close. I just barked at them. At night I slept under a bridge but came out in the morning because I would be so cold and hungry. There was a young boy who tried and tried to make friends with me, and he wouldn't give up. He got me to come in his back yard where I would be safe. In no time we were playing ball together and having a good time. I'm really grateful to him, he is awesome! So now I am living in a cool foster home and I got 4 kids to play with!!! Boy, this place is fun! I like to play with the kids and I don't jump on them. I love to play ball and tug-of-war. I do fine in a crate and I am potty-trained! I have been known to counter surf, but hey we can't always be perfect right? I like some male dogs, but need one that is past that hyper irritating puppy stage. So I am fine with being an only dog or if I can have a companion to just hang with that is cool, but please no annoying brothers for me! Oh and just so you know, I'm self-confident enough that I'm not too needy. I like to be loved on but I don't have to crawl in your lap and lay there all day either. So if you are looking for a well-rounded (pun intended) girl, just ask for Val! Adoption Fee: $175.00 Includes all shots, spay, and heartworm test (she is negative)
