He was also suffering from chronic diarrhea and was underweight, despite efforts by his owner to help him, and at 1-year-old only weighed 44 pounds. He was adopted by and has spent the last two years with a family who has helped him learn some basic house manners, had him neutered, and through a series of diet trials have managed to stop his diarrhea and help this gorgeous boy gain some much-needed weight. While his health and manners have improved greatly, the other dogs and small children in his home are proving to be a bit too much of a distraction for this gorgeous boy to finish his training, and his family feels the best thing for Hunter would be for him to find a home with fewer distractions so he can realize his full potential.
