Lighthouse Boxer Rescue is a volunteer organization. We are not a shelter, our foster dogs are kept in trained foster homes until adopted. In order to adopt from us you must complete an adoption application located on our website at: www.LighthouseBoxerRescue.org
Bosley is a 3 yr old boy who was recently returned to rescue becaue his parents moved and couldn't take him with them. Bosley misses' his previous home life and would love to have a new home. He is currently waiting to be re-evaluated for adoption. 7-7-07: Bosley is doing well in his foster home, he is getting along with his 2 female foster sisters, however, he is still not good with male dogs. He will need to find a home that will take him to obedience classes to help him learn how to handle being around male dogs. He is not good with cats either. So he needs a home with no cats and no male dogs. 1/15/08 UPDATE: Bosley has been attending classes to help with his manners in public. He completed his beginner's session with flying colors and has started another round of training. Bosley looks forward to these classes and has continued to please his instructor: she is so proud at how relaxed he continues to be and at how eager to learn he is. This boy wants nothing more than to please his people! For more information please visit www.LighthouseBoxerRescue.org. You can also fill out an adoption application at that time.
HELP! Lighthouse is in desperate need of foster homes. The dogs are coming into the shelters of Ohio faster than we can save them. Currently we only have a couple of foster homes, and we can only take in as many dogs as we have foster homes. If you love boxers, are a responsible pet owner, and are looking for a way to give back please vist our website and complete a volunteer application. Thank you
