He is new to our program and we will update this page with additional information in the coming weeks. We do not estimate that Baxter will be available for adoption until at least 3/13/2010 - it may be longer. Our initial assessment of Baxter is that he is a very high-energy dog and will most likely not be placed in a home that has small animals or children. Update 2/28/10: Baxter has shown signs of having food aggression with humans. We are having him professionally evaluated by a trainer, and working with him to resolve this issue. While this form of resource guarding is certainly correctable, it will take some time and constant reinforcement by any potential adopter. Spay/Neutered: ScheduledCurrent on Vaccinations: Yes Child Test: PendingDog Test: PendingCat Test: Pending Our adoptive companion pets also comes with 30 days of pre-paid pet health insurance.
