Amelia is a young, three legged, happy, active dog; cute as a bug. She had a difficult beginning, was found alone, thin and with a severely injured leg. With some good food and time to rest, she recovered quickly but the leg was damaged beyond repair. She gets along just fine without it, runs and plays with other dogs and will have a good, long, normal life; she appears to be about a year old. She needs a home where she can be inside as much as she likes, with a yard to play in and some people or dogs to play with. She goes outside for dog business, loves her bed in the corner, and is very smart. She can learn easily, loves people, will snuggle with cats, is friendly with other dogs and will make an ideal dog for the person who is willing to take the extra care needed for a three legged dog. She cannot put on weight, and does need regular exercise to keep up her muscle tone in those other legs.
