D.J. found his (now) foster family, & asked them if he could stay with them until he could find a forever home of his own. It was cold & he was hungry, & he thought a home with food & warmth & people to love sounded like a great idea. They welcomed him in & told him he could stay & learn some nice house manners, & that would help him find a family that would give him a forever chance. So, D.J. is trying very hard to be a good boy & learn how to be well behaved in a home. He is doing well, & now that he isn't cold or hungry anymore, he wonders if someone is ready to give him his chance. He is a little shy, but he likes people (although he has not been around small children), & he gets along with the other doggies in his foster home. He is growing by leaps & bounds, he has learned to stay out of his foster mom's kitchen, & he is working on being house trained. He is very handsome & loving, and hopes that he will soon have a permanent home of his own so he can settle in and begin his journey as a life-long companion. If you have a warm home, & some extra love to share, D.J. would love the opportunity to share it with you. He got his first shots last week. He will be visiting the vet this week to get more and get neutered for a long, happy, healthy life. Â DJ is about 6 Â 7 months old. Â He is currently working on being housebroken. Â He loves to play with his two foster mate dogs. He can get a little carried away with his rough housing because hes a young precocious puppy. Â He will need basic obedience training.
