He's utd---if you need specifics, let me know----DHLP, CIV2, BORD, Rabies, HW neg, neutered. He was left in a crate on vet's steps with a note on Nov.2, 2009---saying he was about 9 mon. (they were the second owner) and in an apt, could no longer keep him. The vet figures him to now be about 1 yr.---- the tech said he's actually calmer now then when he first came in and usually it's the opposite--the dogs go stir crazy once cooped up. He seems to have a great temperament. I've let him run in the dog park a few times now with various breeds, sizes of dogs, male and female and he has done beautifully. Today he ran around with a female labradoodle and male chihuahua mix (which was small enough to stand under him). The little chi gave him quite a run for his money. couldn't catch it if he tried!! When the chi stopped, Achilles would try to wrestle, but was actually very gentle as though he knew he could crush it. The owner of the chi was pretty impressed with him! He also rides beautifully in the car, very calm and when walking does not pull and jerk. He has beautiful markings, gives kisses, very attentive. Will sit, shake and come (most of the time) and knows 'wait'. I've oriented him to the click and treat method and he responds very well to that. He has not been kid tested but my gut tells me he will do just fine. Not cat tested either. He is located at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30004 770-475-8272.
