Hi! My name is Ryder. I am a 5 year old boxer mix. I have had it rough, but now I'm on easy street! I was rescued by a wonderful lady and taken to the Royal Oak Animal Shelter. They let me go with Home FurEver so I can find my 'furever' home! I am a very sweet and docile guy and I have liked all the dogs I have met so far. I would ignore cats too. I am crate trained and seem to be potty trained. I do have a special need... I can't see very well. I have bilateral retinal degeneration which means my sight isn't 100%. I've bumped into a few things at my foster mom's house, but once I get to know the layout, you'll never know. It is harder for me to see in the dark so you'll have to help me. If I go home with you and you have another dog, you will only want to give us treats and bones when we are supervised. Since I can't see my buddy's body language, I don't know if they are trying to take my bone so I'll growl a little bit if they get too close... all bark... no bite. I am a very sweet guy that would love your love and attention. I will be available soon for adoption. I need to get neutered and put some weight on so you can see what a stud I am!
