Luke is an adorable male Boxer/Lab mix whose short life has been anything, but easy. Luke was found suffering from a skin condition which is being treated, but caused him great pain. He is approximately eight-nine months-old. While not yet full-grown, he will be a medium-sized dog when he reaches adulthood. This boy loves to be hugged and gives kisses readily in spite of the times he still feels 'uncomfortable!' Luke would love to have a yard to run and play in and someone to play with! He enjoys balls, playing fetch, tug of war- you name it! He can't wait to find his forever home! Luke deserves a 'break;' someone to love and a comfortable place to sleep. Luke would love a chance to sit by your favorite chair while you watch the news or curl up in bed with you! He's never really had anyone who loved him in his life and we think it's time he did! Luke is greatly in need of a 'foster' home or a 'weekend' caretaker who can spend time with him. Luke is currently residing in a boarding facility where he isn't able to get the attention he deserves and the situation is causing his recovery to take longer. Luke will thrive with an individual and/or family who is willing to attend a basic obedience class (sponsored by Lucky Dog) and has time to spend with him. This boy will 'shine' in the right home!
