'AHomeAway', Rescue,Adoptions and Pet Care~ We are a small private facility that believes 99% of all surrenders are because of behavior problems with pets and lack of committment of owners. Obedience training and educating yourself on the breed before adopting, and after are two very important factors in a successful relationship between pet and pet parent. All adoptions are incouraged to enter obedience class with their new pet and spay or neuter is mandatory. Scooter is a Boxer/ hound mix, we think.He was a stray on the far south west side of indy, roaming the streets thin, hungry and scared. He is a wonderful fella about 8 mos. old, who loves to please and play. Likes other animals and kids, but reccommended for kids over 8yrs old that are familar with dogs. He is neutered and housebroken, vaccinations are up to date, microchiped and waiting for his forever home. SCOOTERS adoption rate is $75.00.00 please call or email if enterested in Scooter, he is a sweetie that is eager to please. All adoptive pets are spay or neutered and UTD on vaccinations before leaving AHomeAway, unless prior arangements are made in certain curcumstances to be done after new pet parent takes ownership. The adoptions fees are minamul according to the vet care they have recieved. These monies go for their care and vet caring for other new adoptable pets. You must fill out a pre-adoptive application and agree to regulations and be 21 yrs of age. The best suited owner and home is what we strive to find and place these pets in.
