01/11/2009Henry arrived at my house last evening and already fits in as if he has always lived here. He gets along with my other foster, a 7 mo female and my 6 yo female. He loves to play with toys, bones, balls, tug toys, wrestle, run around and “herd” the puppy when outside. Although he has not been tested, he seems to have the “border collie eye” for herding. He is a tall boy, still a little underweight, but will probably be about 50 pounds once he reaches his ideal weight. He is very friendly and loving and comes to me regularly to put his head in my lap so that I will pet him. He knows basic commands, is crate trained, and we are working on the housetraining. Last night when we sat down to watch a movie, Henry laid on the blanket next to my daughter and behaved himself.Henry has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention. He is approximately 2 years old. He is currently being fostered in Michigan, near Ann Arbor.
