Description:
12.19.08 Daisy
Daisy is a beautiful little four year old girl, one of the tiniest border collies I have seen Im guessing her at around 30 pounds. She is a wild little thing, very friendly but with poor recall right now to her name. We had a break through today, she came to me for cheese consistently, and she loves praise, so she is finally deciding that coming when called is a good thing. She is not trustworthy in the house by herself she will chew couch cushions and shoes! We are working on changing her strange appetites. On the plus side she is so sweet and craves affection and gives it back without reserve, when she hangs out with you. She is great with my dogs after she learned her place in the household. She is also a little heater if you like a dog in bed (which obviously I do) and will sleep all night with you without bothering anything! She has had a few accidents in the house, but seems to be doing better with this in the last few days. Daisy is wild for cats, and would do better in a household where cats were not present, or where they were dominant and could let her know they don’t like to be chased. I don’t think she would ever hurt a cat but she thinks they are great fun to chase. All in all Daisy is a very beautiful sweet dog who needs a bit of training and a lot of love. She will make someone a wonderful best friend if they are willing to invest a little time and energy on her!
Daisy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She will be heartworm tested, microchipped and started on preventative asap.
Daisy is being fostered near Springfield, IL. For more information on her please email Chris at comebyebcrescue@hotmail.com or to apply to adopt Daisy visit comebyebcrescue.petfinder.org.
