When thinking of a word to describe Chewy, 'spunky' and 'feisty' come to mind. She was adopted into a home who thought they were getting a lab, they soon realized she was all border collie and after researching the breed knew they were not the right home for her. She is a very confident little girl and quickly learns to conquer her fears. She is mostly house trained and despite her name, she chews on very little that does not belong to her.
Because of her confidence and energy level she should only go to a home with border collie experience. Obedience class for her is a must. She gets along well with other dogs, but is not afraid to stand up for herself if she is getting pushed around.
Chewy is up to date on vaccinations, will be spayed and microchipped right before Christmas and should be ready for her forever home shortly after the new year.
