Description:
Zoey, aka Chloe is seeking her own special person as she is a very special dog. Zoey is approximately 3.5-4 years old, weighs 40#, and is a spayed female 'smooth coated' Border Collie mix, with a docked tail. She is very happy and affectionate. Zoey has been raised with young children and loves kids and people. She gets along well with cats and other dogs as well. Zoey tends to want a lot of attention so being an only dog could be a plus for her. However, she has been raised in a house with two other dogs. She is happy to stay home and hang out with the family or enjoys going out to the park or on a walk. Zoey does not enjoy going on car rides too often but manages fine. She is housebroken, low to moderate energy and has the typical Border Collie traits. That makes her want to herd her fellow canines when they get too rowdy and out of order. She has good recall and is responsive both on and off leash. Zoey had distemper-like symptoms as a pup that causes her to be a bit stiff and occasionally appears to have a slightly awkward movement, but there is no need to be concerned about this, as it just makes her a little more unique. All Zoey wants is love. If you want a dog to cuddle with, watch TV with, read a book with, or go out and take walks with, Zoey would give her heart to you. She is full of love and just wants love in return. Zoey is currently being fostered in Santa Rosa, Ca.
