Hadeya (meaning 'gift' in Arabic; she also goes by 'Dee' for short) is a sweet and loving 2 year old female herding dog mix. She would be happiest as an only dog or with one other dog in the house. She is housetrained. Dee is active and needs a yard. She enjoys snow storms and stalking squirrels. She adores going to the dog-park to run and find mud holes. She loves to chew bones. Hadeya is frightened of new people and new situations. She would do best with an experienced dog owner. Dee does well with children after slow introductions. Hadeya is very smart and learns quickly. Hadeya is spayed and current on vaccinations. Hadeya arrived from Cairo Egypt one year ago. She has come a long way from the scared dog she was who had never known a home and is ready to move on to her a place of her own. All our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. This gives us the ability to really get to know the animals we have available and find them families that are a good fit for them based on their personalities. We do not have a shelter to visit the animals.
