Sherlock has had very little love in his life, but it hasn't harmed his wonderful, outgoing spirit. In spite of being ignored, and then abandoned, he likes people of all sizes and shapes, from adults to children. In fact, he gives kisses by the bushel to show you how much he loves you at every opportunity. Not only is he happy to be around people, but he lives for playing with other dogs. He likes all of them, too, big ones, like himself, medium ones, even small ones. If you are looking to add another dog to your life, Sherlock would be ideal. He would be best friends with your current resident or residents from Day ONE! Ready for this one? He also likes cats! How good does it get? In addition to all his other good qualities, Sherlock comes totally house trained. He is great on a leash and when you bend to take it off once you are back from your walk, he will lick your hands to say 'thank you'. He has polite house manners and loves to stretch out next to his person for a snooze, with his long, long legs straight out. He certainly has German shepherd heritage, and so will be a truly loyal dog when he gives his heart to you. What else is in him to give him those legs that go forever, we don't know. Because of those legs, though, we do know he would be a super running partner. He likes the outdoors for play, but adores being inside with his person after a that day of play. He would make a fine family dog, or a good best friend for a single individual. If you like big, friendly dogs, Sherlock should be your 'right hand dog'. Come see him and prepare for your first kiss from this handsome guy.Sherlock is a courtesy posting. If you are interested in him, please contact: Pat at: firstname.lastname@example.orgLinda
