While we cannot guarantee behaviors, we do want to let all potential adopters know, that we test each of our guests. We test them for food problems, as in do they mind humans or other animals near their food. We test for sensitivity to touching and staring as well as compatibility with other dogs. When find a dog or puppy or have one surrendered to us, we do not place them up for adoption, right away. Instead we give them time to show who they are and what their personality is like. A note about owner surrenders, we cannot accept, because of liability reasons, Pitt Bulls or any other bully breed. Tequila is a young Border Collie, Aussie Shepard mix. As he picture shows, his coat is long and a great combination of colors. He is good with other dogs, and needs to be kept busy or exercised, because of his working dogs breeds. Any one with a farm, with sheep or cattle, Tequila could be taught the skills to work with the animals or work as an agility dog. He cannot go to a home with smaller children, as he does have herding instincts. He tries to herd us, and a quick no, stops him. Tequila is up to date on his shots and has an Ohio dog license. He walks well on leash. He needs a home with room to run and play. He does not get along with cats, as he has shown some prey drive towards them.
