Hope is a 9 year old Black Lab mix who was saved from the gas chamber in Greenville SC. Her former owner was impacted by the failing economy and ended up homeless and living on the streets. Hope was turned into the shelter because of this. She is a sweet girl who loves to just lay around with you and get some attention. She would be a perfect dog for an older couple or a family whose home environment is quiet and low key. She would prefer to be an only dog as she is slightly possessive with her food and treats with other dogs, but not with humans. Hope is spayed, up to date on all vaccines including kennel cough, micro chipped, and heartworm negative. Please, can you find a spot in your home for this very sweet, older girl?
