Sweet Lily is a stunning Black Lab female. She is a young adult (~15 months) and is looking for a home to call her own. She was returned by a family who adopted her as a puppy. Despite our efforts to ensure that dogs that we rescue are adopted out as family members, she was kept as an outdoor dog and when the kids got bored of her, she was returned. This is the reason that we insist that our dogs are adopted as house dogs. 'Outdoor' dogs are too easy to ignore and when the kids are tired of them (like a toy), with a very few exceptions, they are resented and ultimately discarded. Lily is a bit shy, but is very sweet. She wants more than anything to be a beloved part of a family. She is very smart and, as such, teachable and would like to be house-trained. We recommend that she be crate-trained and this will ease her transition to house-trained status. We will update her profile as we learn more about her. Lily's adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay surgery and her vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.)
