Chica is the larger black dog pictured. Her buddy has already found a home. Her owner has had Chica since a puppy, over five years. Now the owner has to move and can't take the dog. Chica is a black Lab mix, housebroken, and has no behavioral problems. She has been an outdoor/indoor dog. She gets along with people and children and other dogs. She has no experience with cats. She is spayed and up-to-date with shots. .For the $70 adoption fee, this animal has received rabies shot and heartworm test if old enough. It has also received puppy shot, worming, and spay/ neuter--and sometimes a considerable investment of services and treatments. For information about this dog, call (828)226-7378 to speak to the foster parent. Chica will not be at the adoption site on Saturdays, but an appointment can be made with the foster home for viewing.
