Bruno is a big lug of a dog with a heart of gold. He’s an affectionate, loving boy with a bundle of energy. Bruno was born to play. Whether it’s catching Frisbees, chasing balls or going for a swim, Bruno is up for anything. With all this energy Bruno would do best in a home with room to run. A fenced-in yard would be perfect! He loves to go for walks and would help anyone keep physically fit by taking them with him. Oh yea, Bruno loves to chew, and chew, and chew. Keep him supplied with lots of rawhide and he’ll be in seventh heaven.
Bruno loves to be with people. He will follow you from room to room just to be near you. He’s a devoted, loving companion and always enjoys a pet. Although Bruno is a “people lover” he does get very nervous around toddlers and young children and does get protective of his bones around them. Because of that, and his size, we feel Bruno should be adopted by a family with no small children. Bruno is a pretty typical dog. If you leave the garbage out, he’ll get into it. When you go to work he’ll probably sleep on the sofa. And if you let him run outside without a leash or fenced-in yard he’ll probably go roam the neighborhood. But his loving qualities far outweigh his faults.
Although Bruno loves to play with other dogs, we do not know how he does with cats. He does like to chase rabbits and squirrels so a home with cats may not be a good idea. Bruno is completely housebroken. He has been used to being alone for up to 9 hours while his former owners went to work. As long as he is provided with toys and things to chew he doesn’t get into any mischief. Bruno would make a wonderful addition to a family with older children. He’ll love you to pieces.
