Lady has been an easy girl to bring in. She is a little insecure, but is beginning to open up a little. She is quiet and loyal .. rides well in the car and behaves well in the house. She loves my 3 year old grandson and is quiet and gentle. She gets along well with our dogs and cats and livestock and loves to walk in the woods. We think she is about four or five years old and seems to be in good health. She is recently spayed and current on shots and heartworm negative. She weighs 59 pounds. We have had some containment issues, it seems she is a fence climber ... and our kennel has a 6' chain link fence. It is hard for them to stay at the rescue versus staying at home with a family or companion. When she is at home on the farm with us, there is no fence, and she stays right with us and our dogs near the house. She may do well if the fenced in yard is at her home, or maybe if the fence is a wood privacy fence. She would also do well with an open rural farm like where we live now. She corrects easily, and she really wants to please her owner. She would make a great family dog ... housetrained, likes to ride in the car, and is not bad to bark and hasn't been destructive at all. All vet care has been done and she is heartworm negative and on preventative.
