I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter on 01/06/10. No one came to find me, so now I'm looking for a new home. I'm a sweet boy and am a good representative of my breed. I love to use my nose to explore and I'd love a family who will play fun games with me that will let me use my talent for sniffing. I could even learn to find your keys or glasses, or even the remote control if you misplace it. I'm a friendly guy, but like a lot of hounds, I won't climb all over you for attention. A lot of people think that hounds don't make good family pets, but that is just not true. We can be excellent in-home companions who have a great balance between go, go, go and couch potato. Just give me a chance and I'll show you how fun a hound dog can be. I don't know if I've ever been around kids before, but hounds are often a great choice for children. If you have little ones at home bring them along to see how we get along before you make a final decision. If you're looking for a fun, middle of the road kind of dog, pick me - Clover!
