She's a sweet and gentle black and tan coonhound who would love a family of her own. At the present time, she is living out her life in an outdoor shelter where she has only a doghouse to keep her warm from the elements. This gentle spirit spends her days waiting for someone to come to rescue her from the humdrum life that she leads. Her problem? Well, she lives in a rural area where no one is ever going to just happen by to see her and adopt her. Charmaine would love a home where she can have her own soft bed, get good food each day, get some hugs and kisses by some loving person and maybe be able to take a nice walk around the neighborhood each day. This girl really deserves a nice home. It's getting cold outside, please consider adopting her today. Breed Estimate:black and tan coonhound Gender: female Approximate weight: 75 pounds Approximate age: 8 years Location: rural outdoor shelter but can be brought to the DC area for an approved foster or adopter The adoption fee for this dog is $275, which covers the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery.
