Hi! My name is Benny. Everyone tells me I'm the SWEEEEETEST little guy. I'm 3 years old and weigh only 11 lbs. I love belly rubs and cuddling. I do have some human trust issues (especially with the vet and groomer) but once I know you will love me unconditionally, I will be your best friend and snuggle buddy. I promise I will welcome you at the door when you come home and give you lots of kisses because I am so glad you are back! I am especially full of kisses when you wake up in the morning and I love suggling up to you during the night knowing I am safe. I still need some help with my housetraining, though I am doing very much better since I arrived in rescue. My last family didn't have time to train me and had to give me up. I am very good on a leash and love to go for walks. I love playing with other small dogs. I am looking for my forever home, with or without another furry friend to play with -- but I really need a loving mom or dad to make my life complete. p> ADOPTION RESTRICTIONS – PLEASE READ Potential adopters must live with 100 miles of Norfolk, VA and must submit a written application (SEE BELOW) We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 8. We do not ship dogs. Bichons require a great deal of love and attention in order to thrive. Because of their extreme people dependence and their inherent housetraining difficulties, we place only in homes where there is an adult home during the day.
