Jethro is a seven month old, male, Belgian Shepherd-Labrador Retriever cross who came to Second Chance because the landlord revoked permission to have a dog because of his large size. A very loved and well cared for dog, his previous home worked very hard with his medical care, socialization and obedience because he was taken away from his mother and siblings at such a young age. A silly boy and quite “full of it,” Jethro loves to play and rough-house. He also thinks that he is a lap-dog! Continued socialization, reinforcement of basic obedience and work with leash manners will be necessary. We recommend a dog experienced home with children ages thirteen years and older. Other dogs may be possible upon introduction. If you are looking for a big, goofy boy with a puppy brain, then come and meet our moose, Jethro!
