Raison came to us from Burnsville animal control during the holidays and no rescue had room with the fosters busy!! We took her and found that she her hip was out of the socket!! She wasn't using it but since the injury was 2 weeks ago, we could only remove the head of the femur so that she can use her leg again without pain. This is the same surgery that big dogs can go thru with Hip Dysphasia!! What an expensive surgery! Now also upon exam, she is also pregnant!! The could tell that at least 3 pups are ready to be born in 3 weeks! We know that she would not be able to deliver normally with her leg still healing. She will have to have cesarean and a spay at the same time. Poor Raison! She is the sweetest dog in the world and howls to got potty! She is got another operation to go and she is one expensive Beagle. If we charged the adoption fee what we are going to put into to vet costs, She would be $1900!!We need your help!!
