Description:
Please contact Bobbie Beach (silverwalkhounds@yahoo.com), (573) 339-7866 for more information about this pet. 12/26 - Ollie is neutered and doing very well - Merry Christmas to him! 12/17 New pics of Ollie Baba whose name I changed to what I call him everyday! He is so wanting his own family w/fewer dogs than those here at Silverwalk. His heartworm treatment was completed in November and now I just have to get him neutered which I keep forgetting as he is such a mellow guy! 10/16 New pictures today - Ollie's head shot looks so serious! I can't recall what he may have been watching. He is acting more comfortable again now that Duke is adopted; I think he may have seen Duke moving in on 'his' girl, Annie! Continues to be a sweet, loving boy who wants to be by your side. No side effects from his heart worm treatment so far and he is halfway through. His house training is coming along very well! YEAH, Ollie! Intake - 9/28 Ollie is a wonderful 15' Beagle, tri - color w/both red and blue ticking, approx. 2 years old. His finders, Heather and Michael G., started him off right w/good food and friends, then vetted him and initiated his needed heart worm treatment. No owner was found and Olllie had no ID. Silverwalk Hounds has agreed to complete his heart worm treatment, have him neutered and find him a good home, which he certainly deserves. Applications for adoption are being accepted; however he will not be ready for adoption till the end of October when his HW treatment is complete and he has been neutered. On arrival, he presented himself as a confident but not alpha dog. The other dogs, to whom he was introduced gradually, accepted him without trouble. YEAH, Ollie! He is playing with Annie, found his way around the yards/field. He has an extremely soft coat. Initial impression of this afternoon and evening is a simply lovely dog without issues, who gets along with all dogs here and seeks out his human. Please watch for updates on this delightful dog! All Silverwalk dogs are up to date on shots including rabies and bordetella, HW negative and on preventative (unless otherwise noted), on monthly flea/tick preventative, live in the house in a pack with 24/7 access to a dog door to the yards and field. All are working on or have been house trained along with some basic obedience. Silverwalk is lucky to have the expertise of dog trainer Marilyn Olson Neville and animal behaviorist Tara Lang available when needed.
