Mac was surrendered by his owner to a local animal control facility because he was taking a job in another country and Mac couldn't go with him. Mac is a FABULOUS 4-year-old beagle who is housebroken, crate-trained, great with kids and other dogs. He would make a wonderful family pet. Like many beagles who are allowed too many treats, Mac has a few pounds to lose to be his ideal weight, but he shouldn't have any problem taking it off. He loves to play and chase toys! When he arrived in his foster home, he went straight for the dog toys and even threw it up in the air for himself. Mac knows some basic obedience and would thrive in advanced training classes. All he needs is a home to keep him safe, healthy, and happy for the rest of his life ... and he's sure to give plenty of love and companionship in return!
