Hi, I'm Blue, a 4 year old Beagle that was rescued from Paulding Animal Control. I used to have a family, but they made me live outside in a small pen all the time. I didn't have any toys and very little human interaction. I was always so bored that I eventually became a master at escaping my pen, which angered my family. Instead of providing me with some mental stimulation and exercise, they decided to take me to the shelter, which actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me. I'm now living in the comfort of an air-conditioned foster home where I get lots of love and attention. I have a big yard to play in and a foster sister to play with. Despite my isolation early on in life, it turns out I'm a very social little guy. I love people and other dogs. My foster mom says I am a sweetheart. I'm learning all kinds of things in my new foster home, too. I've never had so many good things happen to me before. I'm slowly learning that I get treats and extra affection just for doing what I'm told. I'm planning on starting a basic obedience class in August to build on what my foster mom has already taught me. If you have love to give please put in an application for me now. I certainly won't last long.
