Description:
Please contact Sarah (sarah@humane-livingston.org) for more information about this pet. Please check with us often for adoption specials, fundraisers and special events that benefit the homeless animals at our shelter. Alex is a purebred Beagle who was transferred to us from a rural animal control facility. Alex was turned in there as a stray. Alex is estimated to be approximately two years of age or so. He's a very friendly dog that seems to get along well with other dogs. He seems a little too interested in cats and likely would be the type to chase them. Alex will require a fence in his new home to keep him from running. Beagles can be loud so sometimes this could be a problem in closer quarters like apartments and condos. They also do require some regular exercise such as playing in a fenced area or daily walks. Thank you for considering one of our pets!
