Description:
Please contact Marcy (mfreed@triad.rr.com) for more information about this pet. Henry is a pretty brown and white beagle/shepherd mix. His nickname is 'Sad Sack' because he has such a sad look on his face, but Henry has reason. He's about 6 years old and several months ago was, well, living 'a dog's life'. He had an owner who adored him and who he adored. Then his owner died. Henry was taken into a rescue, but then the owner of the rescue died and no one was available to help the dogs. Henry found himself chained to a tree...and no one was feeding him.Fortunately, he was rescued once again by The Dog Found.Henry is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and snuggle. He's crate trained and housebroken and rides well in the car. He likes to bark at squirrels, but otherwise is a very quiet and maybe even a little lazy dog who loves to just lay around, especially in front of the fireplace. He's excellent with cats, but although he's living with 14 other dogs now, he'd probably prefer to be an only dog so that he can get all the human attention. He has short little legs and is smaller in person than he looks in his photos. If you think you can help put a happy look on this sad face, please contact us about Henry.More photos can be found at webshots.
