LOOKING FOR A WATER BUDDY - LOOK NO FURTHER! This is Hunter, a 1 year old Beagle Mix. Hunter should have been named Phelps, because he loves to swim. Hunter spent the weekend with a volunteer who said he is fun loving and quick to learn. She taught him sit/stay and down/stay within an hour - and Hunter would perform these commands on his own each time he was given water and food. Hunter is pretty darn good on the leash and is perfect in his crate. He spent the night in his crate and never made a sound and didn't have any accidents! Hunter loves people of all ages, doggies of all sizes, and while he is cat safe, he needs to go to a home with dog savvy kitties as he likes to play with them. As with all pups, Hunter has quite a bit of energy, so a fenced yard, a doggie playmate, or an active family would be best for him. Hunter is great on car rides - he lays down in the back seat and minds his own business. All Hunter needs is a loving family to show him how great life can be. This nice boy is neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.
