Description:
Update Jan 09: Bhima is so cute and is the ultimate farm dog, never misses out on anything. Wherever you are that's where he is. NEVER wanders and always sticks close. Always does chores, from feeding the livestock to building fence. Plays well with others, even cats, but won't back down if challenged. He is a good citizen all around, though not perfect in the house yet (leg lifting once in a while....though as you an see he makes himself comfortable!) He loves everyone, and would be a perfect friend for anybody from a kid to an older adult! Nice, nice little dog. Update May 08: We have had him in the house, he did pretty good and responds well to verbal reminders. He is smart, and wants to please. Considering his breed, I'm rather impressed with how well he does on the walks, and how well he listens. He's pretty social out of the fenced yard-he plays well with others and is getting pretty playful now. Bhima can be bossy, especially in his own space but in general he's such a happy little goof. Bhima is a fat happy wiggly wonderful little Beagley boy who LOVES to eat and LOVES love!! This guy would make an excellent pet for anyone who has ever loved a Beagley!! He has it all!! He is learning a doggy door system at this point, follow up housetraining would be needed. Bhima came from a home where there were 27 dogs competing for everything. There wasn't even enough money for electricity, let alone enough food, water, warmth, attention, or any other essentials. After coming into rescue, Bhima had to overcome mange and malnourishment, which he has done with flying colors. To know him, you would never know the hardships he has endured. He is a super happy, wiggly and energetic little dog, who loves people. He gets along well with his 'roommates', loves to ride in the car, and walks well on the leash. He does his own version of 'tricks' when the treats come out - from dropping his front end to the ground, to 'talking', to leaping in the air to catch them when he can convince his human company to throw them! He has endeared himself to his foster parents, and will make a lovely addition to any family.
